The Pharm D. programme of JSS AHER has been awarded with International Certification by Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), USA, and becomes the first among the Universities in the Asia Pacific region.

ISO 9001:2008 Certification - The JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru , JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty and JSS Dental College and Hospital, Mysuru certified with ISO 2001:2008 for their quality management system. The Drug Testing Laboratories of JSS College of Pharmacy Mysuru, and JSS College of Pharmacy Ooty, that are approved by Drug Control department of Karnataka state and Tamil Nadu State respectively, and approved Centre for Bioavailability/Bioequivalence studies by DCGI, CDSCO, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India.

JSS Dental College and Hospital is accredited by International Accreditation Organization.

JSS Medical College Mysuru is approved by DSIR as a research facility.

The Executive Committee of the Karnataka State Higher Education Council, Department of Higher Education, Government of Karnataka on the recommendation of the duly appointed agency ICARE RATINGS has rated JSS AHER, Mysore as a four-star institution with a Score of 711 out of 1000 in the category of YOUNG University on the basis of comprehensive performance metrics as set out in the Karnataka State Universities Rating Framework (KSURF) on the 31st of March 2017.

The Indian Pharmacopeial commission has recognised JSS AHER as regional coordinating centre for Pharmacovigilance Program of India (PvPI).
WHO International Drug Monitoring Programme located at Uppsala, Sweden has partnered with JSS AHER to establish a strategic framework for collaboration to conduct training programmes for capacity building in Pharmacovigilance for the Asia-Pacific region.
